The Praxis EMR Training Program offers you more personalized attention than any other. Because Praxis is built on your unique medical knowledge base, our trainers work with you to make Praxis your own. Praxis users report that training is a rewarding and eye-opening experience that allows them to see their medical knowledge from a new perspective. The better you know Praxis, the more you'll love it. For that reason, Praxis includes training at no charge.
Each provider is assigned a personal Praxis Trainer as well as a Praxis Implementation Manager. Training can be accomplished online, onsite, or with a combination of the two, though the vast majority of users choose online training. We've learned from over 25 years of experience that every provider has different EMR adoption rates, learning speeds, and schedules. Your trainer will design an implementation plan to meet the specific needs of your clinic. Together we craft a winning implementation roadmap and stick to it!
Implementation proceeds in three stages:
As a general rule, one-on-one provider training begins online before implementing the Praxis EMR network throughout your office. Training consists of about twenty hours of personalized sessions, during which time each provider's medical knowledge base is developed. Once each provider is comfortable with the software, we proceed with the network install and clinic training.
During your Praxis training, you may work one-on-one, attend Praxis webinars, audit training sessions and utilize tutorials and videos. We work with your schedule to set training sessions that are convenient for you: you may train from the office or from home, and, if you prefer, you may train in the evenings or on weekends.
Your Praxis Implementation Coordinator and Trainer will guide you every step of the way, ensuring that your computers are set up correctly, your Praxis Knowledgebase is perfected, and everything in your clinic is ready to go. All providers learn the award-winning features of Praxis EMR in detail. Remember, Praxis EMR is far more advanced than a template based EMR: it will take you farther than you could ever imagine, but Praxis needs YOU to show it where to go.
